... decided to squash themselves into my comb which is handy. Breakfast was deep fried bread with butter & jam which sounds disgusting, and is. But the coffee was good, as was the delicious melon. Lovely day, pretty easy walking although some steep ups. Turns out the early pilgrims wanted to inspect the wind farm at the top of the hill, so up we went. Amazingly they're still there. But the big ...

Nice young man, gentle and rather serious. He is walking because he has never been away from home and has a fear of travel, hostels and being away from home (his home bed is 'so comfortable'). So to the astonishment of his parents & brother he wanted to see if he could do it. He flew ...

... are really professional pilgrims. Thinking about this today I decided that forget chess, the olympics needs a new sport - Competitive Pilgriming! Events will include packing a black backpack correctly in the dark, cooking an amazing meal in under 5 mins and, of course, beating fellow pilgrims to the next stop - with bonus points awarded for using up all the hot water before anyone else is awake. But now for the other characters. Angelique is mid 50s mother of 4, ...
