... and they also happen to be around the corner from a giant 2 story Walmart and a 4 story mall. We met a woman named Lydia at my apartment who guided us to my room. She also works for QSI and she had my key and she showed me some things in the apartment, gave me a nice little welcome package from teachers at my new school, made sure I was okay and didn’t need anything, and then checked with Ron who said he was good but wanted to show me a few things so that I would ...

To my annoyance we overslept due to the silly flight times we had so we quickly got ready and headed out. We picked up a couple of drinks and also some buns from the bakery and headed over to Victoria Peak. We took the underground and then walked to the tram that takes you to the top. There was quite a queue and it got very hot standing in line. The tram has been around for 125 years but luckily enough it has been modernized over this time. We got on board but I didn't manage ...

... see this incredible country, and to experience such a different culture. I have to say though I am looking forward to now being in countries where there is less of a culture difference and I am able to relax more into the travelling without constantly needing to try and translate everything around me. Sorry this is quite long, I will try and write more regularly once I am in Australia. I have a few photos here but due to issues with cameras not from the whole of the trip, ...
