Arrived in Corfu after a non eventuful flight. So simple in and out of airport here.... not much in the way of checking.... has changed heaps in almost 40 years....
Flight was fine, and booked a hotel from the airport. A lovely place with pool, and the Adriatic Sea out our front door. Lots of people swimming, and most of them from Eastern Block …

After last nights shena****ns, we all woke up slightly later and alot quieter than we were the night before. With our own little gypsy community now formed we enjoyed a breakfast of yummy waffles together. Watched other tourists drive up to our fantastic view point unsure of what to make of us, with many continuing on.After many more story swapping, and being ...

... We head back along the road to Sarande. Artan wants to show me an old monastery but when we arrive the gates are locked. We are held up by a flock of sheep and goats being herded along the road by a lady. I snap a few pics but Artan is not impressed.

Further on we climb a hill overlooking Sarande and visit the Castle of Lekures. From here there is an exceptional view over Sarande and south over Butrint into Greece. There is even a ...

... br> About 6.30 head out for tea. About 1 km down the road is a restaurant called Aragosta. I meet the owner and order some grilled seafood, greek salad and a beer. Good wifi so check arrangements for the next few days. Food is fantastic, I will go again tomorrow. Price is only $13 which is great. Having had a big brekky I had missed lunch so this was a great way to finish the day.

I call my taxi driver Artan and arrange a trip for ...

Another part of Greece. It is all so beautiful. At night there is an acrobatic show, the men doing the acrobats are soooooooo strong, they're like 5 times stronger than an Olympian. They were incredible, lifting each other and doing amazing things, I couldn't keep my eyes off them. We had to share our dinner table with another family each night. We were sitting next to a Welsh family, their last names were Diamond. They were so ...

Arrived at airport and booked from very very helpful booking desk. Hotel was in a lovely bay where we could swim. Room really nice with wonderful views of the bay. An amazing breakfast each morning....and staff at hotel need a gold medal.
Very few English speaking guests, and no one talks to the next person... The staff work- 7 days per week for 3-4 months and still have a smile on their face...
Only problem was their WiFi connection, which was non existant most of the time. They need to upgrade their modem....
