We were excited! Today we were leaving Germany to go back to Finland for a night! This meant that New York was tomorrow! What a dream. We loved Germany but were ready for anew adventure. We got to Finland and it was pitch black!! We had a great plane trip and now needed a taxi! We jumped in the taxi and it cost us 40 odd euro to get to our hotel!!! How crazy!! All words, street names etc were sooo long!!! So long that they wouldn't put the whole word on the street signs! Our hotel looked amazing! Like a little castle stuck in …
... but they were too expensive for our budget.
We then drove across the country to Helsinki. We parked the car next to a beautiful green park which had lots of statues and fountains. People were just everywhere, laying in the sun. We walked through the park and past all the high end shops into the centre of town. They have lots of big shopping centers and big paved squares and there are trams that run through town like in Melbourne.

Again I think I slept most of the flight, but happily I was awake to see Iceland and Greenland as we flew over.
