Peter and I were up at 7am to go for a swim before breakfast. It was lovely. There was no one else on the beach or in the water. Unlike yesterday when you couldn't move. The water was warm but refreshing and a great way to start the day. After our swim and breakfast we headed the car towards Pula, tonights destination. As we left the island we drove down to a bay to look back up at the bridge that is the only access to Krk. Its actually tow bridges with a small ...

... the first thunderclap and fairly soon after that I heard ths first raindrops on the tent, I jumped out of bed and began to put the drying rack in the front part of the tent so it would stay dry. I also put the chairs there, so we could sit dry in the morning.
The thunderstorm was off somewhere on thd mainland and bounced around in the mountains, so this time we only got a bit rain instead of hail or a downpour.

... and chips, served with raw onion. We didn’t realise we would get about 15 sausages each so the basket of bread and bucket of soup we had to start had already finished us off! We still managed to wash it down and finish it off with a pint. After a laboured walk back to the hostel to settle down for the night we spent the night playing cards and being beat by a South Korean girl in our hostel who had supposedly never played ...
