Well 193 miles actually for today’s drive to Zadar, journey time roughly 4 hours, one of the longer legs of our European road trip. Birthday Cards received : None.
Presents received : Two ties, a small ceramic house and a small ceramic tree. And a free coffee and cake. Can't grumble.

It really was getting too hot already so they went into the shade of the narrow streets. After looking at some Roman remains, they found the best ice cream yet to cool off.
Back to the hotel for coffee and a sleep for Ed, it is hard being the birthday boy! ...
