... Fail. Back inside I went straight to the gift store to buy a warm hoodie and a dry t-shirt. Sadly NASA doesn’t sell slippers, socks, or shoes of any kind so my feet had to stay wet all day! If you’re reading this Johnson Space Centre, get on that! NASA slippers and socks, you’re missing a gimmick!

Airports are exceasively generous when it comes to A/C. However, my 2X2 ice bed with arm rests was worth every bit of the $150 I saved on hotel expenses. Right now I am longing for the warm clothes I left behind to make room for snacks, but I am confident I will be happy to be without them when I am lugging a 46 liter pack through the Amazon. Well...I'm off to Panama...and the adventure ...
