Guess what, I brought my old expired passport! Didn't see if it was the new one! Cheese & double crackers! Pray that the Canadian border police let me in AND that I get back into WA. Taking care of what I can now. Bathroom & clean hands. Snacking on TJ's pretzel sticks (slightly sugary not too salty) & having my cheese curds bought earlier. ... The kids started out not doing much hiking but by the end of the trip they were down walking on the trail and checking out all the crevices and crannies. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. As we exited the trail we stopped at the visitor center to get my National Parks Passport stamped as well as find out where a good beach to visit would be. They recommended Rialto beach just Northwest of Forks.

It was a bit ***** coming off the ferry, but at least I was the first one off the ferry and missed the traffic. Wow did the SV ride like a beauty in the cold, wet weather - but we were both pretty happy to have warm sun shine down on us as we curved onto the onramp from Hwys 120 to 101.

The only cop I saw was screaming in the other direction around Port Townsend,
and after that the sky started to clear ...

... All went well until we tried to finish one of the aprons that was a knit blend of some sort and her machine just didn't want to stitch evenly. How frustrating after tearing out the seam several times, trying different needles and wanting it perfect since it was for a gift! At least it was the day we were going out to eat for my 60th birthday so we didn't have to make dinner.
I had decided I was hungry for Chinese or similar and Port Townsend has 3 ...
