... We drove to Ohrid in the dark with no place to stay. We found a parking spot in the centre of town and we asked the parking attendant if he knew of any places that were reasonably priced to sleep, and it so happened his friend was riding his bike by that owned a hostel! What are the chances. We followed him to the hostel and were pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean it was! It was also right in the centre of Ohrid with walking distance ...

... s/b. Isa will be awol for most of the next two days as he lives in Ohrid. That will also be the case for Daniela after the morning walk as most of her family is here. Both Daniela and Isa, however, will be taking the Albanian crowd on the 9th [whatever day of the week that is].

... they were all done getting up to the hostel and I headed up. I packed up my things and went to the correct bus station on the first try. This time I was heading to a city called Batumi which is on the Black Sea only minutes away from Turkey. I found a minibus that was almost full and I got one of the last seats. ... as i arrived at the bus station at 5am , hung out there waiting for a respectable time and finished my book. After walking into town a very unhelpful tourist info place eventually showed my were the hostel was on the map, which took me a while of wandering around old cobbled streets to find. But the owner was welcoming told me to help myself to some breakfast and Tea which was most welcome.

On my way to Macedonia's crown jewel, Lake Ohrid, I decided to make a little pit stop in Bitola for a look at the country's second-largest (though still pretty small) city. Well, our bus itself took a long pit stop on the way there - there was an accident in front of us on a small road, with not enough room to u-turn.
