... backroad in total darkness other than my headlights.. no where to pull off so they can pass me.. oh well... Took a couple of wrong traffic circle exits but figured it out soon enough.

... hollow except for the stairs, and when you stand in the base and look upwards, your eyes and brain play a trick on you. The effect is that the metal support attached to the inside wall that is upright looks on the squink and the tower looks completely straight up! The complete opposite of reality of course. Not the first time the brain and the eyes have disagreed about reality, but it usually happens after 11pm on a Friday or Saturday night.
