... an espresso and a torte in the piazza and basked in the sun for a good while. Up to this point I had done quiet a bit. I went to a castle (toured that for a solid hour +); went to at least 5 churches; 3 different street markets; went to all the near piazza's, peering into shops; and now I was enjoying the weather. It's only 11 am and I'm already worn.

... from being away from water for so long. (Alright, alright.. only a little over a month..). As I mentioned in a previous post, the Mediterranean sea is much different than the Pacific. It's nearly clear here. You can see all the rocks as if you were looking at it naked. Plus, it doesn't cast a fishy smell like I am used to. In the area I was yesterday, the water was roughly 60- 70 degrees. Not super warm but definitely not Monterey.
