... so we couldn’t complain. Once everything was under way we sat back and read for a bit, passing the time and relaxing which was nice. We met a lady from San Francisco who travels to Venice every year and we swapped stories from the road for a while which made the time go by very quickly and before we knew it our dreaded chore was complete.

... right words - and made the reservation for 18 o'clock. Unfortunately, we were thinking 18 o'clock was 8:00 and in actuality, it was 6:00. We missed our time! :-(. The folks there were very accommodating, however, and they moved a couple of parties to make us a long table - perfect for the ten of us! Phew! The chef sent out fresh gazpacho and we went through several good bottles of wine and the food was wonderful! Successful dinner!
