Site awaiting us was the Curtea de Arges monastery from the early 16th century, build using the marble and mosaic tiles from the Constantinople. What struck me instantly was the condition in which, the garden and the building itself was kept... like if it was built only recently. Heavy Metal Machine
... Next morning we drove to Bran to see Vlad's/Draculas castle. Vlad the Impaler being the influence for Bram Stokers famous book, the castle was visually pretty impressive, not so much the hoardes of other toursits and tack being sold at the bottom...not sure what a witch and a zombie have to do with vampires. We just had the single night in Brasov, so set off later in the day to an overnight stop in Oredea in the far north of the country.
