    ... spend a few hours with them and we had supper at Outback together, then we had to leave.

    Not much else will be happening as we travel back to Florida, so there may not be any more postings. We have had a great trip, but I am ready to be home and get back to reality. Thanks for joining us on these blogs.

    ... out again. The novelty photos were mandatory for security purposes, great! Make this one a super cheesy one so if we pinch something from NASA our mugshot will look hilarious plastered on tv! The tram took us around the NASA campus, from the schools where they train to be technicians and Astronauts, where they build rockets and the machines that land on the moon, the space outfits and where they are planning the obrien trip into deep space.     ... few goats, sheep and some other weird animal I'd never seen before, and can't remember now but it had a strange hump on it's spine (no it wasn't a camel!!).
    Some beautiful cows, a sow with umpteen piglets feeding peacefully and so content (see pics).
    One gorgeous display we saw was an incubator with hens' eggs all marked with the date of anticipated hatching. People were able to watch chicks creating the first cracks in the shell, then emerge all wet ...

    ... about 2 hours worth of marching states/bands/etc). Well, we got onto the road and was almost deafened by the silence. There was ************e there and even the VIP stand where we were announced (and they didn't call us the Foreign Legion Riders this year - lol) was only about 3/4 full. Dave was gob-smacked and apologised to LJ for letting him believe that the parade was such a big event. None of the ALR organisers knew why hardly any crowds attended ...
