Weather is a broken record, cloudy with a threat of rain. About an 80% threat of rain this afternoon. So we made plans for the morning.

... we pulled into the turn lane. There were 3 lanes going into the center and only one gate open. They need help here!! Twenty minutes later we got through the gate to the parking lot. There were lots of school groups, most very well behaved. It was the kids with families that seemed to run everywhere like wild children. Oh well!

... Aquarium which doubles as a resturant and loved the Gumbo and Salad that we ordered. The Aquarium was beautiful and we viewed the different types of life that lived in the aquarium as we ate.
The best part of my Kemah experience was the train ride around the boardwalk that doubled as a tour. It was quite fun...even if made mostly for kids...and I really want to visit Kemah again during warmer months. ...

... paintings are huge, plain pieces. This chapel is for all faiths to have a place to come and worship. Kind of like a blank slate or at least that's what it represented in my eyes/mind. The Menils must have thought something similar because that was not the original concept for the chapel, then they saw the finished pieces and it became so.

To see the Menil collection, it just inspired me to see more and travel farther. We haven't scratched the ...

... about fifteen to twenty miles an hour, I'd guess. I had all I could do to keep my cap on my bald head... I did do a video of the area so you can get the feeling for the area.

Back at camp now, I'm blogging and Lynnie's making chocolate chip peanut butter cookies... in case I have a low blood sugar... uh-huh!

The sun is breaking through, finally, at about three fifteen. The sea breeze blows and keeps us in fresh air. It's all good...
