... there are 36,000 police in the NYPD. We decided to have dinner in an area called "Meat Packers". It is now full of restaurants and clubs but it's name came from it being a meat packing area and it was a rough and tough neighbourhood. ... since Dave was last in New York and shown around by Peggy and Monica. We had a great time, lots of laughs, the kids were great and all similar ages so got along well. ... towers covered an acre and apparently the 2 towers had their own postcode. The buildings were like little cities and I suppose that housing that many people every day, they were. There are tributes from people worldwide, some of whom were not even born when the attacks occurred.
