... And practically door to door. Score! I sat out the hour or so before departure in the Hilton lobby, doing some course pre-reading. Time passed quickly. Nearly came to disaster though! ... Horses of Helios' statue and the proximity of Carnaby Street. Then it occurred to me that having such a mental process about Times Square probably made me a bit of a '*****y Brit does America' type. Which I guess is okay, so long as I remember to temper my opinions with good grace in conversation and/or otherwise keep them to myself. But even those very few minutes in Times Square seemed to drain me and I decided to head back to the hostel ...

... with a little baby called Bao Bao and they were both sat on their plump little bottoms chewing away on some bamboo. The best moment was when Bao Bao had clearly decided that sitting up was waaaay too much effort and she slumped back to lay, sprawling, against a rock. Made me giggle. The were so very adorable. They did get slightly less lazy and go outside for a bit so it was nice to see them without the glass in the way.

The zoo was great. I can never really ...
