Neuquen, an important commercial and agricultural centre, is a provincial capital on the confluence of two rivers. We chose to spend Easter Sunday here to break up a long journey as we made our way north. The city did not have any major draws but it was a good place to experience everyday Argentinian life, which on this Sunday included park ...

... traditional Argentinan "tablas". Its a board of different meats and cheeses that you share. 4 of us split one which was deer, wild boar and trout. I didnīt have any of the trout, but the deer and boar were delicious. They gave us bread as well. It was a huge amount of food, and fantastic.

Overall, despite the rain, San Martin was a hit. The trip is heading in the right direction!
