A travel blog entry by millieandjames on Jul 11, 2015

WE DID: - Bus from Bariloche to Neuquen (5.5 hours). This was our first experience of Argentine long distance buses, with many more to come! We left early the next morning to get back to Bariloche in time and give the car back. As we cruised back along the lakeside roads, we were treated to a very nice surprise to round off our trip. Over night, snow had fallen, leaving all the mountains and trees blanketed with a 2-3 inch layer of snow. It was magical to drive through this winter wonderland as the sun came up. With this being our one and only day ...

We spent Christmas with Nick, Connie, Sofi & Lucas, along with Connie's family: her three sisters & one brother, their partners and their children, all round at her parents' house. Traditionally, the big family celebration is on the night of Christmas ...
