We went to a beach just down the road from the fruit stand. The girls changed into their swim suits and we were ready for some beach time! We ate our fruit, banana bread (I love a place where a local favorite is banana bread!!), and drank our smoothies. Then Stephanie went for a swim in the ocean. Yes, I considered grilling, but we had no skewers and we were pretty sure they would fall through the grates. There was a beautiful sunset (is it ever ugly!?!) and when we went to check it out, we also noticed that the tide had shifted and there was actually sand in front of our house!
