The road passed by coconut and eucyluptus trees and groves of bamboo. We visited a state park, Waianapanapa, and the Haleakala National Park of Kipahulu. At the national park we hiked to view Oheo Gulch which ...

... over to where we had left our shoes, I could only find one of my flip flops. We all started looking around the beach for it, and then my dad spotted it several feet down the beach in the surf. He was awesome, and ran down the beach and knee deep into the water to get it for me. He got a bit wet, but was able to get it. My mom thought this was really funny, and tried to get a picture. However, in order to get the lens cap off and unlock the lens, she had to drop ...
