Day 47 - Leg #2 - Las Vegas, NV to Page, AZ
454 km and 5 hours
...we left Vegas at about 1 pm and had the goal of reaching Page around suppertime. We did OK, except for stopping for several picture spots along the way. The only place we really stopped for any time at was 'Pipe Springs' National Monument, where my handy All Park Pass again …

We had a lie in this morning, and breakfasted on the patio with great views of the surrounding hills (see photo). Girls went off to check out the grounds & facilities of the Hotel one last time before we set off. We all agreed what a beautiful place to have stayed the Inn at Entrada was. ... directly to the adventure centre to confirm our Colorado river trip and Hummer tour for tomorrow...all is good! Then we tried to find our hotel...on the way we found a Denny's which we both love for brekky and lunch...reliable good food....we go to nice places at night but when travelling we want something quick and reliable....love a bakery for lunch as first choice but they are few and far between out here....in fact today's drive reminded us so much of west Australia....red dirt ...

View was great, and price, but there was a definite 'poopy' smell in the room. Everything looked OK, bathroom smelt deodorized, so we figured we'd just go with it. Until my wife lifted the toilet seat...
...found out what was causing the smell.
Don't know who left it, but cleaning staff sure didn't find/flush it!
