... I wouldn't consider fruit a breakfast on any day of the week, but out here a bowl of melon, mango and banana topped with coconut seems right. She went away, cooked breakfast and brought it back to our bungalow (on her head) so that we could eat it by the plunge pool, you don't get that kind of service at a Travelodge! ... We have room for 12 people in 2 rooms, each room with 3 large bunk beds. I was happy to find Maria asleep in the bottom bunk and my name paper stuck to the top bunk. The top bunks are about 7 feet high and are made of something like bamboo. It's not the easiest task getting in an out quietly but at least the beds are comfortable. I've always loved the first few moments of the first morning when I wake up and remember I'm in Bali.

Rarely is there silence, so I know that's not it. I actually think it's the fact that you can hear "life" going on around you that makes you feel so relaxed and immersed.
