... unfortunately managed to find an old cigarette butt as I didn't want to litter so put it in my pocket. She sat on my knee trying to eat it eventually realising it was not food. When I got up she got off but decided it was not the end of our time together. I looked down at her at my feet when she bounced up grabbed onto my shorts and made her way to my shoulder. The house has a bathroom with a large outdoor shower which is beautifully decorated with stone. Off to both sides of the ...

Of course, I hear life going on around me at home as well, but that kind of life is the blaring 7:00am iPhone alarm, followed by Mookie's protest that breakfast has not yet been delivered at ...

The "X" Factor

A travel blog entry by resiststatusquo on May 04, 2014

... There was trash all over as if there was a sense of cavalier resentment by the people not to clean up in order to make the landscape beautiful. If tourists already come in droves, why invest money into changing things?

For a while the jungle surrounded us. Then the openness of the roadway. As we continued to drive through various towns, it became clearer when we were approaching those that were tourist oriented.

We ended up in a two way road, ...
