      ... paid off! We had a little beach hut that was set back in the trees a bit but it was so cool. We have a hammock outside our door and the reception/restaurant is overlooking the sea so it's beautiful!       ... we learnt that there were different options how to get to Pulau Weh:

      • slow ferry: IDR 25,000 per person, dep. at 10.30, 1,5 hours.
      • fast ferry: starting from IDR 65,000 per person (3 different classes), dep. more often, 45-60 minutes.
      Since it was the end of the Ramadan, Indonesian people were still on holidays, so the pier was crowded. We decided to take the slow ferry since it was cheaper, the choice made by most local people traveling from Banda Aceh ...
