... change juggling but my visa finally came Friday Oct 2nd!
I am flying out O'hare tomorrow evening and will be arriving in London Monday morning and then flying to Accra, Ghana Monday late afternoon, where I will be getting picked up by Sam (the project partner leader). The village I will be working in is about 45 mins outside Accra (the capital of Ghana).

Kathy and Dozer both went to work today. While they were working, Sheila and I decided to go into Rockford and do some exploring. Whenever we head into Rockford, we have a few must that we take care of. First stop was the old Logli's for Sheila’s nut bread. We normally stock up on that – Sheila loves that bread. Next we head to see Sheila’s late mom at the cemetery in Loves Park. Then ...
... right down the road from her house. Very convenient. During this visit, everyone had a chance to meet Mousse. Mousse also had the chance to meet Kathy and Dozer’s dog Willie. Willie is a Shitzu. The boys got along pretty well. Mousse was expending a lot of puppy energy with Willie. It was a good time for both, and fun to watch!

... there we took it easy and went to Rockford, IL in two days, about 95km. We couldn't find a warmshower host so we turned to couchsurfing. The next day we cycled to White Pine Forest State Park (60km, 37 miles). We met up with cousin John and his friends. We stayed a couple nights, tubed down the Rock river, had lots of fun!
... in Dixon at 4:30 and I decided to continue onto Freeport IL for the night and ________ at a nice place across the street from the West End Motel. Before ________( can't mention) Dave Banker needed one more shirt for the trip and there was a Good Will a 1/2 block from the Motel. When we were walking to GW we noticed some old cars across the street at Tailor Made Autoworks LLC. So we went to investigate. This guy was working a 69 Z28, 54 Ford, 55 Chev Nomad, ...
