We have stayed here before and enjoy the hotel, there is a great view of the kl tower next door from the restaurant on the top floor at night the lights are pretty. The pool bar on the top floor is excellent and the rooms are also high on my list for comfort and they are clean staff are always helpful. The hop on hop of bus is just across the road and you can ride around and see all of Kuala Lumpur.

Spectacular view from my fantastic hotel room on the 26th floor. Overall well connected; few minutes walk from both KLCC and mono-rail.
Only thing i was thrown off about was the blocking charge of 200Rgt at the lobby which will be released after 14 days(hopefully); which the receptionist informed me afterswiping and charging me.

PHEW. So our AirAsia flight got us safely from Penang to Kuala Lumpur... Don't think we would have been as relaxed as we were on that flight had we been flying this week. I have taken several AirAsia flights during the last four months... SCARY STUFF. Anyways, on a brighter note... WOW. Oh how we were dazzled by our 5* hotel in Kuala Lumpur (KL). …

    Hot and humid. 32 degrees

We organised our airport transfer and wake up call for tomorrow morning before setting off to catch the monorail and train to Batu caves. The monorail was quite crowded with commuters. We changed at KL sentral station for the 25 minute train journey to the caves. First we paid the 2 Ringet each entry fee to see …

We set out early to get breakfast then headed for Petronas Towers, the iconic landmark of KL. Apparently ranked as the world's tallest twin building, it is certainly an impressive structure. We took some photos before heading inside. We decided against going up to the observation deck as it is very hazy today so …

We were picked up at 6.30am by the airport shuttle and after collecting some more passengers got to the airport at about 7.45. We have never seen Sydney airport so busy! It was a constant queue from baggage check in, to passport check, to security then tax claim and finally to our gate at about 9.45. Many passengers were struggling to get to their …

    The 'funner' offspring of Singapore

Kuala Lumpur is a great change of pace for any traveller within Southeast Asia. It's much friendlier than the surrounding countries to the North, it's much more vibrant than Singapore, yet it provides a big city feel that made me feel at home. It's customary to be haggled at any of the major cities but in Kuala Lumpur you're approached more for ...
