... Beach Cafe was busy too when I arrived for an early lunch. I felt surrounded by people unnecessarily exposing acres of unattractive flesh. It nearly put me off my food. ... staying in the huge £100 a night beach resorts. After the peace and quiet of Koh Chang it was a bit of a shock. The beach was also a good 20 minute walk from where were staying. Not the best location when hobbling. The centre of Khao Lok is split in two by highway 4. Each side of the road are tourist shops, bars, restaurants and dive shops. Again not very Thai.
