Now, I wasn’t too sure about this as I love the roo’s and think their ever so cute but they all kept saying, you’ve gota try it once and I had tried shark the other night so I said “oh, go on then” but what a nice meat, not fat, real lean and once the ...

Alice Springs has been one of those little surprises that is unexpected and awesome. That tiny little city is really comfortable, it's not yet 126 degrees, and the scenery and buildings actually remind me a lot of when I lived in Tucson. This morning started out in the 30s and I took a long walk to enjoy the cool air before things quickly warmed up into the low 90s. But even 90 with no humidity is pleasant enough.
About all I did today was get my hair cut ...
... Jamie). We meet Jamie at the gun place, filled in the require paperwork & than picked what package we wanted. We chose the $80 one where we shot two semi automatics (45mm & 9mm) & two revovlers (44m & 357). It was so scary. My hands were shaking the whole time I was in there. Me & Belinda were good at the semi autos & Nae & Jamie were good at the revolver. I did manage to have the most ...

Adelaide, South Australia, Australia planetvaleUp at 8am and talked to Judith Hall on Michael's Skype. I went into the garden to hang out the laundry on the washing line and decided to clean up the garden. I cleared leaves that had dropped in the drought. I swept the two bricked patios and it looked quite neat afterwards. I would love a garden this size at home. It is a walled garden with mature trees, a large shed as well as an inconspicuous area for compost, pots and big garden gear, a small lawn surrounded by gardens ...

Adelaide, South Australia, Australia big_papi... long weekend, it would take a little longer for the new awning to be shipped to Adelaide and also for the caravan repairer to get the information and photographs to the insurance company and for it to be approved. We were hoping that it would all be organized for Wednesday to be fitted. We took a drive into the City for a look around as it is only 10 minutes to the City from Uncle John's place at Port Adelaide. The city was ...
Adelaide, South Australia, Australia p18130... that heady 9 to 5 world. Exactly when, and how, that will happen is anyone's guess.
As it stands, that old "reoccurring nightmare" I had of waiting tables on my 30th birthday is starting to wane. With less than six month to go before the big day I'm content to think that wherever I'll be working, at least I'm not still trudging along in Toronto. Even if I haven't yet found my dream job I'm in a good place, having had many more ups than downs in ...
... everyone not only happy but also appreciative. Someone once said that the best kind of waiter anticipates the needs of the table before they do. I thrived on running my own show, and one manager, at the last resto I worked in Toronto, even dubbed me the "lone wolf", a moniker meant--and taken--as a compliment.
But at Stoli, at least, there's no room for lone wolves. It's a pack mentality, and everyone has to pull their own weight while extending their service to the ...
