    ... to beat the weekend traffic to Alameda. We arrived in good time and received a fantastic welcome by Larissa and Cassie. Everyone just clicked and the kids all enjoyed playing with their little cousin. Carl arrived home soon afterwards and we all sat down to eat. We hadn't sat down for long when Ingrid arrived.     ... the beach wearing a parka and with a Margarita glass in hand to catch the sunset. Don't see that in Florida. I hear some of the local surfers are a bit edgy over surf etiquette but for the most part the vibe seems easy.
