... the children were asked to introduce themselves and their grandparent(s). There were 20 children and 21 grandparents. Introductions were fairly brief, and the children did a good job. We realized that there was one girl, Hazel, and her grandmother, who had been on our Road Scholar program last year in Dunsmuir CA; it was nice to see them again. ... Museum which was close to the plaza. There was an exhibition on there called "Camellia has fallen: Contemporary Korean artists reflect on the Jeju uprising". ... Sometimes when you are away from your normal habitat, you just have to stop and take it all in to realise you are very lucky to be able to be somewhere else, which is so beautiful too.
