      ... We continued along Eric's route and sure enough we only had to deal with a small section of the PCH before turning off and heading to Long Beach. Long Beach has a bit of a bad rep. Not sure why from the parts we saw. With the Queen Mary and other ocean liners anchored opposite a beautiful harbour and park, it seemed quite an attractive place.
