... We continued along Eric's route and sure enough we only had to deal with a small section of the PCH before turning off and heading to Long Beach. Long Beach has a bit of a bad rep. That threw me off quite a bit and that was the moment the tiredness was getting the better of me and I couldn't help but looking at the clock more than once to see when it was finally time for food and sleep. Got to our room and put our carry-ons down - no sign of luggage at this stage. I decided to go to the Front Desk to get holes punched in our cruise cards so we could hang them on our lanyards, and also to deliver the wine to Judy and Phil who were on the same deck but Starboard side.
Doug waited in the cabin for Room Service to come and exchange our mini bar for coffee ...

Worked open house from 1:30-3pm and had a good break until working the 6-10pm shift where Raye* and I manned the late-registration table in the Jr.Shockwaves room. Around 8:30 I helped in the Pelicans room and quickly learned of a little girl who might be a terror with an "I do what I want" personality. Here goes another ...
... so typical of summer here and we were happy to watch you enjoy it too. Having almost everbody here to celebrate the start of the Olinger family 45 years ago, so special to us, words cannot describe the feeling of looking around and seeing all that love.
