      ... the main road and the right bus and we were off to Santa Monica. I really wanted to see the beach and the pier. Unfortunately the bus we were on terminated 4 km short of the beach. We waited for about 30 minutes for a bus to arrive, and started walking a bit. Only made it a km before we waited at the next bus stop. We eventually got to the beach and it was worth it.

      Today was a great day. I went to my first NBA game, the LA Lakers vs the Denver Nuggets at the Staples Center. The stadium was massive. The Nuggets ended up winning by 22 points. The score was 137 to 115. I had the best time and I can't wait until the Clippers Mavericks game next ...

      ... in winter you could still swim if you wanted. It's a tad cold, but be brave, go on! We, and by we I mean everyone but me because I can't skate if my life depended on it, rented roller blades. Got me a bike I did. Yep! Clever, huh?!
