    ... We continued along Eric's route and sure enough we only had to deal with a small section of the PCH before turning off and heading to Long Beach. Long Beach has a bit of a bad rep. Not sure why from the parts we saw. With the Queen Mary and other ocean liners anchored opposite a beautiful harbour and park, it seemed quite an attractive place.     ... Clemente which is another city in Orange County, midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, where they used to live before. San Clemente is a really nice beach town and home to many beautiful houses and apartments facing the ocean (usually with white fašades). There are also tons of good restaurants at San Clemente Pier. Generally the town has a very relaxing atmosphere. We walked along the beach as well as observed some beginning surfers from the pier.

    Sunday morning Peter went with friends on a 100km bike ride. This is an annual event he participates in. While he was away we relaxed at his place, catching up on blogs, email and Facebook. It was very relaxing. Peter returned a little later than he expected as his back wheel buckled and he couldn't complete the ride.

    ... if LA are that it's amazing and everyone is so so so friendly and helpful! However there seem to be ALOT of weirdos who shout random things at you! and despite the glamorous citizens and the sky scrapers you can't ignore the number of homeless people too!

    ... Tom Carroll crossed with Anthony Keidis in Point Break. It was mildly intimidating walking past these guys to get to the dirt track that lead down to the beach.The break was a long right hand point break with rocks lining the break the whole way in.
