    Night 23: Monterey Bay From Daly City to Monterey, CA I'm very confused about how far we drove today, but it was a decent number of miles. Today the weather was pleasant enough. It was in the upper 60's and lower 70's and mostly cloudy. There were peeks of sun here and there. Here is a shortened report of the day.     We are booked for an official elephant seal tour in two days time but we've been given a hot tip that there is a good place to stop on this part of the drive to catch a peek of the big smelly beasts. OK, well apparently we probably might as well cancel our 'tour' since there are more elephant seals here at such a close distance that I have ever seen in my life.
