... have found, while carrying a bike up dozens of steps! Difficulty in finding the correct path through Golden Gate Park at the beginning of our ride, should have been an early clue that this was going to to a looooooong ride. The map failed to show you half the trails that actually existed and hence we took lots of wrong turns which tested the patience of two hungry riders! The park is very beautiful though and dotted with lots of real life ...

Hi all, sorry for the missed days the internet has been a bit sketchy here. We have worked hard to slow down and we have all done a lot of swimming and snorkelling. Today Mum and I went to China Town, and had quite an experience. The food market we both appalling and astounding. After a leisurely morning and a lunch in a sushi restaurant we made our way up to the City and the winery to bottle the Esquisto wine (Grenache/Mourvèdre). The bottling line is in the back of a trailer and fortunately doesn't run too fast... I was putting the caps on the bottles and Mike was filling the cases.
