... get it back. I've only got a weeks worth of clothes, if I had lost one of those days we'd have to do the laundry more often! Back at the hotel we go to bed, the bed not moving as we climb in or out, in fact this is the first time we have got into bed from the side for a while, in the camper we would have to climb up from the bottom! But we don't have the great views or the peace and quiet of the camper, this is something we'll have to get used to again, ...

... one block from where I lived and it was an Italian. Service was slow and food was a little more than average but we were only there to get drink. I enjoyed an entire bottle of wine before we had left. It was so wonderful laughing and catching up with the other girls that came. I was very grateful to reach land, get some fresh air and hop aboard the Supershuttle (which disappointingly is just a people carrier and not a rocket) and get to my accommodation. I am staying in the centre of Auckland in a very nice hostel, which is made up of single rooms, all with en suite, tv and a fridge. My only vaguely ...

Time to return yet another rental vehicle today (number 4 including 2 campers) but before we did we took a drive up to the Auckland Museum. As you'd imagine it was a huge place full of exhibits most of which we didn't get a chance to see but their special exhibition was the wildlife photographer of the year and was well worth the entrance fee with an abundance of stunning photos of animals, sealife and landscapes. By the time we had ...

... ve done in NZ. It was just under a 10 hour hike and a few of us took on Mt Doom, this was a 45• angle crawl up volcanic rock terrain. I would take on DofE 10 times over before I would tackle that mountain again. The decent was easier than the accent but so dangerous, we essentially just rolled and slided down the mountain. That night was Julie's 21st birthday so we all had a big predrink in the fort and then went out.
It was onto River Valley the next day, the hostel ...
