This hotel is so well located to the ocean and shopping. Ice is a premium here is Aussie land, so if you fellow Americans love ice tea, you can make your own in your room and add ice from the ice machine in the lobby. The front desk was always very helpful. The morning breakfast buffet was wonderful, although a little pricey at 19.99 per person.

          Getting There

I can't believe it has been 4 years since the last time I blogged a trip. It wasn't because I didn't do any traveling. Granted most of my trips were 5 days or less; therefore it was easier to share on Facebook during the trip. Still I had some epic 2 week long journeys through Ireland, Scotland and Philippines that could have been the subject of a …

Eindelijk toegekomen! De hitte en vochtigheid overviel ons wanneer we het vliegtuig uitstapten maar als we aan het gure weer in BelgiŽ dachten, namen we dat er graag bij. Kerstdecoraties zijn al overal aanwezig. Hoe opzichtiger hoe beter zo blijkt :D

... a huge friendly Maori Wrasse which was very tame and hung around the dive boat – it got a bit too friendly with Charlie and swam right up to his camera to give him a kiss! We saw a turtle, lots of funny looking Diagonal Striped Sweetlips, Clownfish shyly hiding in Anenomes (the famous Nemo) and lots more. We did two night dives which were pretty eerie but incredible to see sharks, barracuda and other predators coming out to ...

... and even dolphins!! I even saw a lion fish on my advanced deep dive!! Safe to say my camera is pretty full of photographs of underwater life!!!We're now into stinger season so I have been wearing a shortie wetsuit. It's rare to get the really dangerous jellyfish out on the reef but I'd rather not take the risk! Me being me, I managed to swim straight into a jelly whilst snorkelling on the first dive day!! Luckily it was a none ...
