However when we finally checked in we couldn't complain because Juliette, one of the owners, spoke excellent English and was very welcoming. The hotel was decorated in a very contemporary style, to the extent I was concerned that our room might be like something from an Austin Power's movie!
Our room was up a set of wide, gently spiralling steps, from the 14th century, and along ...

The lass at the office had recommended a restaurant which I'd noted as we drove into town, and so we walked to the other side of town to it, whereupon Treas poked her head in the door and gave it the thumbs-down as being too stuffy, and also deserted at that time...6.30... So we walked back through the village and gave every restaurant in ...

... apparently was able to be extended to seat 40! Another nice little sitting room was roughly 12m x 16m...... This history just blows my mind and makes me feel that we, Australia, are so insignificant in the world stage. Treas has a new , somewhat surprising urge....after always previously having to push North to Norway, this time, having already done Norway, she wants to push South to try to catch the rapidly receding sun, which seems to be trying to ...
