... Unfortunately they don't make dog repellent and there were a lot of stray dogs that live on the beach which isn't really my thing. Particularly as we seemed to have coincided our trip with mating season and the female doggy just loved to hide from the other dogs underneath my sun bed!!!

... yeah - it's been an eventful week (I actually feel a bit funny writing about that cab journey, it makes me feel a bit ill to remember how scared I was). I'm loving my time with Vanessa and Miya... we're going Kayaking tomorrow, and I think I'll follow them back to Chaing Mai to meet up with the others again, then grab a flight over to Vietnam. It's all a go here!

... until 4.30 am) Then, when Ben came home at 8 am, he also went in to tell Jamie the taxi driver was waiting in the lobby downstairs... so Jamie didn't get much sleep.
By 9.30 we're all ready but no sign of Darren. Jamie calls and calls but after 45mins the decision is taken to go without him and Kellyn.
