    ... umbrellas by the sea and just sat there for about two hours. We were again being pestered by all the locals trying to sell us everything from food to paintings. It was not relaxing and I didn't feel comfortable enough to put my bag down or even just sit in my bikini. We just sat there and perfected our skills on saying no before deciding to leave and go back to the room.

  • Meeting my elephant, Bonchow and feeding her bananas (bribing her into loving, and not trampling, me)
  • Sunbathing on the back of my elephant
  • Meeting Tong and his family. All the mahouts and their families are such lovely people
  • Getting up early one morning to get picked up by our mahouts on their scooters to go off and cut grass with scythes...I love all these tools ...

    ... soup with prawns and mushrooms which tasted really nice. I was a bit jealous as Ryan's food always tastes better than mine :p. I decided maybe I should order the same things as him from now on.  We went back to the hotel and ended up laying by the pool for a while.
