... can describe what you see, when driving. The towns, the villages perched on the mountain side, the streams running along side the road side. The old house and church here and there, it was unbelievable. To feel free and be away in clean air is wonderful.

... and Karrie has invited me to visit them in northern California. They grow Pinot grapes I think that's code for vineyard along with a slew of other fun people. The air was thin and it makes people giddy. Lots of great photos to come. A remote plane kept whizzing by and Steven said it was a weather drone---kind of neat. There are live cams all over giving people a heads up on the visibility from the top. After several hundred photos, it was time to head down and find lunch. ...

... day and all night for days. Then there would be a few days when the weather would be amazing, 25 degrees and sunny. It definitely was a nice sniff of weather to come this summer. Once the snow completely melted in town it exposed the brown muddy slush underneath, but because of the weather it didn't take long for everything to start turning the most vibrant bright green we have ever seen. ...
