... Swiss Lotus drivers also on a tour! In between cols we managed a coffee stop sitting in the sun in the Valloires valley. Lunch was also 'in between' cols and we kept on ascending and descending for pretty much the rest of the day. It was on our final very long descent, that the Eagles were in front and there was seen to be a waving of a white flag which the Leaders took to be Val surrendering to ...

Not only with the gas, but also troubles with the fridge and 12V powerpoints. Baguette for lunch, set up the van with electricity and went for a walk. Cold and rainy this afternoon, but still able to wander through the town of Allemont. A nice quiet rest day ...

We hired (what turned out to be pretty inadequate! ie ******!!) mountain bikes from the bike shop in Bourg and headed up to Les 2 Alps in the van. Four bikes in there is a squeeze!! We tested the bikes on the cross country trails then bought two ...
