... and girlie bedding pristinely awaiting them. Not the typical expedition bedding! It didn't take long before the 5 of us were loaded up on the Contender for a boat ride. ... and came across a Maritime Museum, so popped in there for a couple of hours instead. We got to walk around a war ship and learnt about the shipwreck that we saw a couple a days earlier on Fraser Island. ... trim and Emma went to get her nails sorted. My hair only took 10 minutes so whilst I waited for Emma I went to see the war memorials by the ANZAC Gardens, where there were statues depicting Australia's role from the Boer War up to the Vietnam and Korean Wars. ... brought tears to our eyes 'you have your own bedroom, bathroom and shower'. I could have got down and kissed her feet right then if I wasn't already halfway to the shower and undressing!! ... A380 Airbus from Brisbane to Auckland, with Emirates. Very exciting. The Airbus was spacious and so smooth - we jagged good seats - 50b and 50 C - near the front and with no one sitting behind us so absolutely no guilt about reclining our seats as far back as they will go.
