Here Vigo, here Vigo!
Our arrival time today is not until 12 noon so there is time for the traditional Celebrity Sunday brunch. The central double height part of the dining room has been cleared of tables and replaced with displays of the most amazing array of food and drink. It is all beautifully laid out and very tasty.
It is the nicest day we have had so far the sky is blue and the sun is shining, a change for Vigo!

... two signs pointing in opposite directions for that train and understandably looked confused. Some nice men saw this and helped us out. We didn't have to wait long for the train, although it was at the other end of the platform from the sign that says 'All Trains This Way'. We claimed our comfy first-class seats and enjoyed the ride. (All the mentions of first class/second class train travel begs explaining: those over age 26 must buy first class ...
Yellow paint and oysters
... town seemed empty and we were the only punters in the restaurant, but the food was excellent and the waiter did eventually smile. I think his shoes had glue on the bottom of them, as he seemed unable to lift them off the floor, but only shuffle. Or maybe he had had a long day.
So had we, climbing up all those steps.
Back through the deserted dark alleyways, to the funky hotel, which seems part of a distinctly different world altogether.

Smoke and mirrors
... laid aside for further investigation, so I joined the queue, where everyone was furiously trying to re-pack their luggage, having had it rifled.
"Never goes back as easily, does it?" I said to a poor girl who was trying to stuff all her personal effects back into her bag in full view of everyone.
Mine was duly passed as fit and we were allowed through.
Just time for a coffee, some catch up phone calls and to write a sniffy letter to ...
A nice small city by the sea
... Several of you have commented that you have enjoyed the pictures, well, I have more and will share.
Will probably not post from Madrid, but if I take some interesting pictures I'll post them when I'm back.
This has been a great experience for me, and I'm grateful that you my dear friends and family have been with me all the way on THE WAY. I'm eager to get back and personally tell you about my Great Adventure.
