... Symphony Orchestra and some Ambulance outfit. It looks like they use some of the grounds for rock concerts etc. The planned Nazi Centre would have covered 11sqkm and it would have been magnificent; in an ugly sort of way. It was then back to the Old Town where we walked up to the top where the Castle is. Another engineering marvel but many centuries before the Nazis. The Old Town is just a great place to wander around as there's always markets, buskers, beggars ...

... morning and 33 later. We didn't want to trail shops so decided to visit the toy museum instead. What a fantastic place. Toys I remember playing with at friends houses in my childhood and also toys I remember buying for Krystina and Paul like My Little Pony and Masters of the Universe. Another plus. It was cool inside. Back on board now. Mid cruise gala dinner tonight. It is nearly four and I haven't even had a single wine or cocktail yet today. Going up to sort ...

Courtroom 600 remains fairly similar to how it was in 1946, although the viewing gallery which was expanded to accommodate the large crowds is now gone. So too is the dock where the defendants sat. We left Thüringen behind and entered Bayern today. We arrived in Nürnberg around 11 and headed straight to our hotel. We knew there was parking there and I am tired of driving in these European towns! The hotel was super sketchy. It's on the 4th and 5th floors above an apartment complex. I didn't go inside with her, but Aunt Marge came out saying it smelled like smoke and seemed dirty and she wasn't sure what we were getting ourselves into. Still, we decided ...

... a beautiful breakfast of boiled eggs, meat, cheese and breads. We had a very long relaxed breakfast and a short talk with my parents on Skype then we headed off to get Nina. Felix was so excited, he was jumping out of is skin. The first thing he did when he woke up was to get everything ready to go – when we still had hours before we left! I was more excited by all the different symbols and letters on ...
