      ... They lasted a week and attracted nearly 1 million people to Nuremberg from all over Germany.

      We finished the tour with gingerbread and coffee in a Bier Hall in the city. The gingerbread (called Elisen Lebkuchen' is famous in Nuremeberg. It is a light, heavily spiced sweet flat biscuit often coated in chocolate.

      ... lights in the hallways of our current hotel are all operated on sensors, so when nobody has been in the hallway for a while they go out. As soon as your step out of the elevator and into the hall, bam! Let there be light! Public transportation is just a breeze over here. The train and bus system is amazing and easy to use.       ... at the market. They were so good! Oh wait I totally forgot! As we were wandering the streets of town we happened upon a living nativity scene. At least that's what I think it was. There was a camel, a llama, a goat, a donkey and some other ram type goat creatures. The best part- I got to feed them! Camels and llamas are surprisingly smart and they can definitely tell who has the food. They saw that I had food in my hand for them and they literally chased ...

      ... in the castle. We also went on another ride that took us up a steep incline and to finish came splashing down a steep slope into a lake to finish. I bought a lego Star Wars set. Julia and I also got to make up 3 of our own mini figures in the Lego brick shop. The shop had bins with all kinds and colours of lego. We also toured a mini lego factory that explained how lego bricks are made and we left with a souvenir brick".
