Cruising from Viviers to Tournon
... through the lovely village of 4,000 residents. The cathedral and houses were beautiful to photograph. The boat then continued north up the Rhone. We went through locks constantly going higher and higher. Lunch was another delicious meal. It rained through lunch and the sun came out as we finished lunch. What an experience - Tour de France
... warning blaring over speakers. Then they started arriving...all the sponsors have floats and people on the float tossing stuff into the crowd - hats, key rings, frisbies, newspapers, packs of cards, beef jerkie, bottled water, more hats, T shirts....you get the idea.

After the visit tio the vets we wandered around the medival town of Vienne and without a doubt Vic took lots of photos !!! then stopped for a lovely "Plat du Jour " .
We made our way back to the campsite and enjoyed some delicious veal chops cooked on our new electric frying pan !!!!

... to listen to some lovely French radio in the taxi! We arrived at hostel to be checked in by an English fella (Charlie) and was told the spiral stairs that Rachel didn't enjoy were for maintaining nice asses by one of the other guys working there ha! Somewhere in France - Jour 5
... une chute du véhicule de plusieurs centaines de mêtres au bas des Alpes françaises.
Cependant, malgré les difficultés routières du parcourt, la vue était à couper le souffle (presqu'autant que les virages en épingles sur le bord d'une falaise sur une route d'environ 2 mètres de large avec une voiture qui s'en vient en sens inverse à toute allure).
