Today is our last day at this fantastic resort. Our shuttle to the airport is only at 19:30, so we spent the last of our time here soaking in the sun at the beach( our favourite spot, no kids allowed). Soak up the sun we did, I think I went 3 or 4 shades darker. Time to make our way back and spend our last night in Istanbul, then our journey home ...

We hiked a 16 km section that starts above the picturesque Oludeniz beach and ends in the small village of Faralya, that hangs over the equally picturesque Butterfly Valley. The first few km of the hike skirted the mountain cliffs over Oludeniz offering plenty of opportunity to enjoy and photograph the stunning views of the turquoise coast, the white ...

Hamam - Turkish Bath

A travel blog entry by julie.tennett on Apr 17, 2012

... wrap, and I asked if it was okay if I wear my swimming costume. Certainly - no problem. One hurdle cleared. Then the pictures advertising the Turkish Bath showed women being rubbed down by a male attendant - so I thought it wise to just confirm that there would only be women involved in this process. Of course - silly question. Right - then why the adverts?

I went down to the Turkish Bath and was showed into a ...
