... so I could stretch out to sleep across 4 seats. Carley will appreciate my "Mr Bean moment" when I hung my wet knickers and tee-shirt out on the tray tables to dry them off. :-)

... pier when the couple came running down! The port 'fellow' was talking to them and the lady was pretty upset and lots of gesticulating and shouting.........anyway the ship came back in and they lowered the gangplank again and on they got to a lot of clapping and cheers! We finally sailed an hour late. Amazing! Pre dinner tipple; dinner; late show; bed. What will tomorrow bring? Something amazing! ... just like being at home! Apart from the temples carved into the cliffs dating back to 400BC. We got onto a boat to travel down the river delta, it was spooky (or was to me as I was the only one who had seen Apocalypse Now). If I had heard choppers I would have been diving for cover. ... up to a castle at the top which like many medieval fortresses replace Greek and roman temples and reused much of the marble from the prior temples. The view of the Aegean sea from the top was amazing. The top of the castle had ancient roman rooms.
