... We got caught once or twice behind some snails and chased them up the hills and (probably) round the bend.....
Another excitement were the few inexplicable route notes which had random road numbers and iffy directions. For example, our notes didn't match the map: but Brit is a solid navigator and I think we make a good team.

I think we were all expecting we would only stay an hour and a half or so but ended up chatting for four hours at Madayne Eatery and Espresso, a local coffee shop. I then headed to The Hearth Cafe, another local coffee shop, where I met Clare. Clare was my Revival Group pastor last year when I was a student at BSSM. It ...

... we tried to get some trip money out of the ATM, I couldn't find my ATM card. We went to the last ATM I had used it at, but the bank wasn't open. The lady at the store, (Safeway), said that if I left my card in the machine it would suck it back in and eat it. Dandy. Greg and I figured out how to get money out of my account for the trip. Otherwise, the trip has been fun. I mean, no more work for Greg, and our trip has just started! I will try to post pictures ...
