Spending the day in town. Started early with a Segway tour over the Sundial bridge. It was a 1/2 hr of fun early before the heat was on. Right now we're in a shopping mall. Spent the rest of the day in our campground. Great little pool all to ourselves here. Just have to watch for rattlers when wandering around ...

We were "one the road again" by 7:45 en route to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Our first rest stop was at the Lake Almanor Rest Area, where there was a lovely view of Lassen Peak, one of the world's largest plug dome volcanoes at an elevation of 10,457 feet.
