We managed to find a car hire company to take us to the Enterprise at Heathrow. He was a half hour early so we packed like banshees to make sure he didn't leave. We got to drive through some of the neighborhoods of London that we missed, some a bit seedy. It occurs to me now, even on the one or two sketchy streets we were on, I always felt safe here.
