I've spend the rest of my time hassling the locals with questions, questions, questions! Averaging out 3 per person to not look annoying lol People are so nice and helpful here! ... t wait any longer anyway. We loaded up the suitcases and our bodies into the shuttle van and off we went, headed for Newark Airport. It's not a long drive, maybe about a half hour and we didn't hit any bad traffic. Lots of views of Manhattan as we said Goodbye to New York!! Next stop in the evening... because if you drink, you gotta eat... with a strong recommendation from our crew: Canter's Restaurant, Bakery and Deli - a long standing traditional Jewish establishment. Great neon, great kitschy decor and fabulous food.
Stuck back in time the look may appeal greatly to those, like me, who enjoy a trip back in time when traveling.
The bottom line? The perfect end to a perfect day... family, friends and good food. Fini.

... bits. Apart from a bit of Venice Beach and the Hollywood Walk of Fame the city has been lovely and varied. It's clean and well kept (apart from the roads) and relatively safe. Once back in Venice Beach we had dinner in The Cheesecake Factory next to our hotel. The girls finished off their meal with a piece of cheesecake each - 2 of the biggest slices you will ever see! Do managed to finish off her lime cheesecake but Sid was beaten by her incredibly rich Oreo chocolate ...
