Then we got lunch from a little fish and chip place on the seafront, and went to sit on the sand to eat it. It was very ‘Baywatch’ on that beach! The next game we played was riptide ring toss. We had to throw rings and try to get them onto the bottle top. I didn't have any luck with that game.
At night time they had the pacific wheel open, and it lights up.
My niece and nephew went on the pacific wheel and I just watched them as it made me feel sick just watching it going around.
After they finished the ride we headed back to the hotel.
So we landed in Los Angeles with familiar mixed emotions, sad to have completed another amazing part of the journey but super excited to start the next. The only difference this time was that it's the LAST leg of our journey!! A depressing thought until we remembered it is a 10 week leg, at what other time in our lives would we be depressed about a 10 week Holiday?!! ... our motel the Hollywood Inn Express South. It was a bit of nightmare. We were exhausted and had to wait about 20 minutes before they were able to check us in, then they couldn’t use my credit card as it doesn’t have my name on it due to being the travel card! Crazy. We put a cash deposit down in the meantime.
