We spent the night in the RV at Cheaha State Park in Talladega Alabama.
We arrived early enough to take some pics as we headed up the mountain.
Poor RV had a tough time getting up some of the hills. I think we were down to about 15 MPH on a few of the steeper ones. What happens when we get out west :(

... 1938. The Parkway is also designated a National Scenic Byway and All-American Road -- a two lane road that winds among trees on either side. I stayed in an RV park just around the corner from the Visitor Center.

The roads in MS are fairly flat and straight (good for cruise control) with a mixture of pine and deciduous trees lining the roadway. Leaves were giving a last gasp of color (mostly brown).

... of Aussies at the event we figured we did. We found Nathan delirious by a fence and people walking past saying "thats the guy that got hit by a golf cart". Nathan couldnt remember and kept denying it happened. Security insisted he be sent to the Medical centre to be checked out but in the end the medics realised he was fine. I guess we will never really know what happened!
