Oxford was calling today, so we jumped onto another train and headed out to the university town to explore. It's a stunning place and is overrun by students, with all of the separate colleges basically making up little suburbs within the main city. She did finally make it out of the arrivals gate around 9AM, and we caught the 9:30 Airliner back to Oxford. That's when I ran into trouble. I was fine getting out of the airport. I chatted with the student, who is from Georgia, and told her fun stories about OxTrad and Oxford and stuff. But I am horrible with a capital H ...

... was this little water-fountainy trickle to wash my hair. Come on, Pembroke, you're slacking here... Actually wait, I lied. It was the second worst shower I've ever had. The worst shower was last year, when I got myself completely soaped up and then the water shut off completely in the shower and I had to use a Dixie cup to rinse my hair in the sink. Yes, that was definitely the worst.

Today was opening ceremony day, so we began the morning by walking ...
