Las Vegas to Grand Canyon

We will spend tonight at the Yavapai Lodge Grand Canyon and depart tomorrow afternoon around 3.00pm for the drive back to Vegas.
We didn't check out of our LasVegas rooms so we only had to bring back packs for the trip.

Party in Vegas
The next day was another 6 hour drive to Las Vegas! On the way we stopped off on a part of route 66 for lunch and to take some tourist photos. By the time we got to Las Vegas it was about 5pm and was still really hot. So we all had an hour to wash and went out for a group dinner, got some beers and got ready for our limo ride around Vegas. Fun in the Sun
... on a quest through a magical world in another time. The theatre has no permanent stage floor, but instead creates an entire empire on 7 moving and tipping stages. It was awesome.
