... respectable motel, the Big Chief. Funny how these little towns offer more in the room than the bigger ones. So far the motel at Alamosa and the Big Chief are both small towns and are the cheapest, but they are the only ones that provide fridge, microwave, laundry facilities and with good wifi. This morning we awoke at 5:30 to prepare for an early departure at 6:45, the campground was resurfacing their roadways and if we did not leave by 7:00 AM we would be trapped inside the campground until 7:00 PM; it was therefore necessary for us to leave by 7:00 AM. More tarmac today.

The TAT through Nevada is hundreds of miles on mainly straight dirt trails. To be honest it isnt very interesting but it is just challenging.
