    ... and numerous microphones for people to sing with. It was just great! We also saw a dance troop practicing and just plain old out loud living! We missed you so much Cia and Andi 2! Next year Evan is the director and Annie is the assistant. She is passing on the reigns.
    So...to all of you I say "goodnight!". Tomorrow I am off to a dream of a lifetime. If I don't have any connection I will still write every day and catch you up when I hit Beijing on Wednesday.

    Head, shoulders, knees and toes!!!!

    How many times have I sung this song in China? With children on the street or with the teachers I am teaching? It always works and on our last day of teaching I switched tables and played a Mandarin version of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in the classroom and attempted (operating word: attempted) to sing along. My students appreciated it and laughed along with me.

    ... morning run...but I could have. Instead I picked a perfect one just for me...that's all we need...one little piece of perfect not a whole lotta whatever. Today, is a wide open day...off to breakfast and closing ceremonies then we have the day free. What to do???? We will have our final dinner tonight and head to the Roof at 4:30ish AM!     ... at 8:30 pm. Kite flyers, skate boarders, motorbikes on the sidewalk (eek), aerobic dancers, traditional dancers, hip-hop dancers, noise and commotion and people EVERYWHERE! There are SO many people in this country! And it is so warm that being in the park is the place to be at night. New to the landscape this year are dogs as pets. Yes, I am seeing them everywhere being walked on leashes—big dogs, little dogs, longhaired and shorthaired ...
